Garam Masala Actress Neetu Chandra recently in an interview recalled an incident in which a businessman offered her 25 lakhs to be his salaried wife. She also talked about her struggling days in the Film Industry in the interview.
The actress said that her story is a failure story of a successful actor. Having worked with 13 National award winners and in such big films, today she has no work. Neetu revealed that she was told by a big businessman that he will give her Rs 25 lakh per month and that she has to become his salaried wife. She neither has money nor work. She feels unwanted after doing so much work.

Talking about rejections Neetu recalled an audition when a famous casting director rejected her within one hour. According to her, she was auditioned so that she could be rejected and that broke her confidence.

She also revealed that there were times when she was having suicidal thoughts, "Should I suffocate myself to death? Kya logon ke jaane ke baad hi unke kaam ko pehchana jaayega? Jo Sushant ne step uthaya wo kitane sare log sochte he, kitne saare log sochte hain..."

Neetu Chandra started her acting career with ‘Garam Masala’, she also featured in films like, ‘Traffic Signal’, ‘One Two Three’, ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’, ‘Apartment’, ‘and 13B’. She was last seen in the Hindi film ‘Kucch Luv Jaisaa’ alongside Shefali Shah, Rahul Bose, and Sumeet Raghavan. ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’ won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film. Neetu's film Mithila Makhaan also won a National Award.
