Bengaluru: People chopped off ear of her neighbour over a spat over collecting drinking. The incident is reported from Bangarpet in Kolar district.
According to the report, The victim has been identified as 40-year-old woman named Indrani. She was allegedly attacked by five people, including her neighbour Yashodamma on May 9. The victim is a resident of Kadarigana Koppa in NG Hulkoor gram panchayat.

The incident happened when, the woman was returning from her cattle shed when she was waylaid by the accused and her ear chopped off by a blade. During the incident, Indrani was rescued by her husband Raghupathi after he heard her cries. After preliminary medical aid, Indrani was admitted to SNR Hospital due severe damage to both her ears.
40-year-old rapes minor, arrested
As per the report in Times of India, Indrani went to fetch water from a tank. Yoshadamma, who already filled eight pots of water, continued to put her pots under the tap. As per rules, a person is mandated to fetch only four pots of water. Indrani objected to Yashodamma putting her extra pots under the tap which infuriated the accused. Yashodamma threw Indrani's pots when she tried to collect the water. Yashodamma's husband Hosarayappa also allegedly joined the fight and reportedly assaulted the victim. The situation was brought under control by the local residents.
