New Delhi:- Streaming giant Netflix has been criticized for releasing James Cameron's iconic film Titanic just days after the Titanic tourist submersible sank, killing all five crew members. Netflix plans to relaunch the 1997 Oscar-winning film Titanic in the United States and Canada on July 1, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The OTT platform's decision has upset many social media users.

This followed the death of five passengers of the submersible Titanic, who dived to a depth of 13,000 feet to see the wreck of the British liner Titanic, which sank in the North Atlantic in 1912. Passengers died in a "catastrophic implosion". U.S. Coast Guard officials confirmed, per a CNN report last Thursday.
