The process of formation of new government has started in Singapore between covid-19. Singapore PM Lee Hsien Loong announced his cabinet on Saturday. Many people of Indian origin have got a place in this cabinet. The special thing is that Singapore belongs to a handful of countries that have conducted elections in the country during the epidemic. This time too, Lee's party People's Action Party has registered a big victory.

Let us tell you that on 10 July general elections were held in Singapore between the corona epidemic. Lee's PAP party obtained a clear mandate in the general election. In this general election, the ruling People's Action Party received 61.24 percent of the votes in Singapore. Let us tell you that since 1965, the PAP had won the general election for the first time. After this, she was not defeated in any general election. She remained in power. In the 2020 general election, the PAP won 83 of the 93 parliamentary seats. The PAP has secured 61.24 percent votes.

Singapore is among only a handful of countries that have conducted elections during the epidemic. 37 ministers have been included in the new cabinet of the government. They were also included in the old cabinet. Lee said that a new cabinet has been formed. The balance of the new cabinet has been taken care of. This is a team, which faces the major challenges of public health and economic problems as before.
