New Delhi: The case of a BJP woman Morcha activist and her son being shot dead from Kanjhavala area of the national capital has come to light. The incident took place at 06.30 a.m. on Friday morning when BJP Women's Front activist Rajrani and her son, Netrapal, were shot dead by some miscreants. Both were admitted to a nearby private hospital where they are being treated in critical condition.
The BJP woman activist and her son are accused of assaulting some of their relatives. The Delhi Police said that Rajani was having some controversy over the property with his relatives. Police said, the accused is still absconding and the search is on. A party delegation headed by state Congress President Sheila Dikshit met Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Thursday over the deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi.
During the meeting, he demanded immediate intervention from the Lieutenant Governor in this regard. Sheila Dikshit has said that there have been frequent heinous crimes in Delhi for the past few weeks but the Delhi Police is a silent spectator.
