Delhi: Representatives of the JNU Students Union met on Wednesday with a high-level committee constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). The general secretary of the students union, Satish Chandra Yadav, told that the meeting lasted for about 2 hours, in which 4 representatives of the students union and 34 councilors were also present. He said that there was a demand for the immediate withdrawal of the new rules brought by the hostel on our behalf. Also, on the day of November 28, the meeting of the Inter Hall Administration Committee on behalf of the JNU administration should be called again and the students union representatives should also be included in it. Chancellor is not meeting us for the last 3 years, in which case he was also demanded to be removed from his post.
