In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, there was an increase in the activities of political parties in Punjab too. While the recent assembly election results of 5 states have forced the opposition parties to rethink their strategy, the BJP is full of enthusiasm in the state. Under the Indian alliance formed at the national level, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are exploring the role of seat sharing in Punjab, while Akali Dal, which was united for a long time, has again started exploring the possibilities of alliance with BJP. Looking at the new equations being created, there is discussion in the political circles that it is possible that two options for the people of Punjab to choose from in the Lok Sabha elections have started in the form of Congress-AAP and SAD-BJP alliance.

State Congress in dilemma over alliance with AAP: Reports say that even though Punjab Congress leaders are not happy about the alliance of Congress and AAP, they are also not in favor of ignoring the guidelines of the party high command in this matter. Indications of which have also been given by the Punjab Congress President. On the other hand, the AAP government, which started vigilance action against the leaders of the main opposition party Congress immediately after forming the government in Punjab, has suddenly softened its stance. Despite the statements of senior Congress leaders against the alliance with AAP, there is no response from Punjab AAP.

CM became aggressive on BJP-Akali Dal: Reports say that even during the assembly session, there was no tension between CM Bhagwant Mann and Leader of Opposition Pratap Bajwa, but this time the CM targeted the BJP in a forceful manner. Along with this, the AAP government has now shifted its attacks from the Congress towards the Akali Dal. The latest action of the AAP government against senior Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia and the sharp attack by the Chief Minister is a clear indication that along with the BJP, the Akali Dal may also come under the target of AAP in the coming days. This change is being seen as the growing closeness between Congress and AAP. Actually, the high command of both the parties is going to take the decision of alliance at their own level, the advice of the leaders of Punjab is not going to work in this. By the way, given the position of AAP in the election results of five states, the only profitable deal for the party is an alliance with Congress.

The old alliance will be formed again: On the other hand, BJP, which has announced to contest the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab on its own, may be claiming to deliver PM Modi's guarantees to every home, but the party has not been able to strengthen its cadre in the state till now. Is. At the same time, Akali Dal, which broke the 25-year-old alliance with BJP after the farmers' movement in Delhi, has also started internally exploring the possibilities of alliance with BJP again. In this regard, Akali leaders have also indicated that talks are going on between the two parties. In the coming days, this old alliance may also emerge in a new role.
