Uttarakhand Government Approved the Construction of Guest House Near Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, has given the green light for the setting up of a state guest house in Ayodhya. The state government aims to build this guest house near the majestic Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Identified land, approximately seven kilometers away from the temple, has been earmarked for this purpose. The Uttar Pradesh Housing Development Council has finalized the layout for this site, situated at an aerial distance of roughly 3.5 kilometers.

A team from the Uttarakhand State Property Department conducted a visit to Ayodhya to pinpoint the most suitable location for constructing the state guest house.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has urged swift action, emphasizing the importance of expediting the construction process. This initiative is crucial to cater to devotees and visitors from Uttarakhand who plan to visit Ayodhya.

Laxman Singh, Additional Secretary of the State Property Department, shared insights: "We have identified around five plots for the guest house construction. The proposal has received approval from the CM and has been forwarded to the Chief Secretary for further consent. The CM has instructed us to work promptly once the plot is allocated."

Spanning across an area of 4,000 square meters, the Uttarakhand government has requested this space for the guest house. The Uttar Pradesh government will initiate the land allocation process. Before the allocation, the Uttar Pradesh Housing Development Council will set up necessary infrastructure in line with the Master Plan.

Vinod Kumar Suman, Secretary of the State Property Department, highlighted the upcoming influx of visitors after the inauguration of the Lord Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He stated, "To accommodate these visitors from Uttarakhand, the government plans to construct a guest house in Ayodhya. The Uttar Pradesh Awas Vikas Parishad will finalize the plots selected by us, following which the construction will commence."

The state government anticipates the land allotment to Uttarakhand to take place by January. Upon receiving the plot, the detailed project report (DPR) preparation for the guest house construction will begin. "We are hopeful about acquiring the land, hopefully by January. Every state will have its designated space for guest houses," mentioned Vinod Kumar Suman.
