HTC launched its new smartphone in India. Previously, the company has launched its smartphone, HTC Bolt in the United States. Recent reports say that, both the variants resemble same appearance. During the launch in US, HTC told that it will launch Bolt globally with the name tag 'Evo'.

President of South Asia HTC Faisal Siddiqui, while talking about HTC's new launch said, "I am confident that the HTC 10 evo with its attractive pricing coupled with sophisticated style and technology features will be popular with the discerning Indian smartphone buyer. Inspired by light this big screen entertainer will keep you engaged throughout along with the next generation audio technology and professional level control to give you the best of photos and selfies at all times.” 

Revealed specifications of the new 'Evo' smartphone are:

1. It has 5.5-inch Quad HD about 2560 x 1440 pixels.
2. Screen consist of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
3. Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
4. 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, storage is expandable.
5. 16MP rear camera and front camera is 8MP.
7. Battery backup of 3,200mAh.
