New Delhi: The opening of the new Parliament building was a great event that showed the underlying unity of the people and tradition of our great Bharat, said Vishwa Hindu Parishad national secretary general Milind Parande,Â
The new Parliament building was dedicated to the nation on May 28 by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said the VHP leader. This dedication event was preceded by the handing over of SENGOL by 21 Adheenams from Tamil Nadu".
The event represents the Bharathiya culture, heritage, and spirituality, which are fundamental characteristics of this hallowed nation, said the secretary general of the VHP. "Spiritualism and Nationalism are the two eyes of this country," he added.
"Vishwa Hindu Parishad considers this event the pride of the nation, as it highlighted the historical, sacred culture and tradition of this nation, and condemns the attempt to politicise this event for political gains by some anti-national and anti-Hindu forces," Parade said.
As per the statement, the VHP will spread this spiritualism and nationalism message across the nation in the days ahead as it approaches its 60th anniversary of founding.
On Sunday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi installed the 'Sengol' in the Lok Sabha chamber and unveiled a plaque to dedicate the new Parliament building to the people of India.
Twenty opposition parties boycotted the opening of the new Parliament building because it "insults the high office of the President and violates the letter and spirit of the Constitution" to do it without President Droupadi Murmu.Â
