There is a third member of the Lamborghini Urus family. The Urus S, an entry-level sports SUV that will sit beneath the Urus Performante, has been introduced by the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer. A 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, updated exterior styling, and more opulent interior amenities all contribute to its improved power.

With more than 20,000 vehicles delivered to date, the Urus is one of Lamborghini's most popular models. Automobili Lamborghini's Chairman and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, remarked “The Urus has proven its appeal for those seeking the decisive combination of the sportiest SUV and a Lamborghini to drive every day: the Urus S sits perfectly alongside the new Urus Performante, for those choosing the purest sublimation of performance, luxury and versatility."

The Urus Performance SUV is clearly a design influence on the upcoming Urus S. The reworked front and rear bumpers, the quad exhaust outlets in the back, the vented carbon-fibre bonnet, and the carbon-fibre roof are a few of these. The SUV is supported by a set of 21-inch alloy wheels that feature fresh designs, and the front skid plates are made of matte-finished stainless steel. The wheels' diameter can be increased to 23 inches.

The Urus S's interior has been improved and has more luxury features than the original Urus SUV. With various contrasting trim and stitching, the interior is decorated in dual tones. Additionally, it has connectivity capabilities including a digital car key, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and satellite navigation.

The same 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that powers the Urus S produce 666 horsepower and 850 Newton-meters of torque. It takes a little longer to accelerate because it weighs more than the Performante. The sprint to 100 kmph for the Urus S takes an additional two-tenths of a second compared to the Performante's 3.3 seconds. The maximum speed stays at 305 kmph.
