According to the video, the motorcycle and the passenger were travelling down the road when they passed a parked automobile. When the automobile door was opened, the driver did not look out the window to notice the motorcycle approaching. The motorcycle slams into the door, sending its two riders flying to the road where they were struck by a vehicle coming the other way.
People in cars are urged in the video by the Bengaluru Traffic Police to use caution when opening their doors. The police advised that before opening the car doors, drivers and any passengers should make sure to turn their heads in all directions. Such a terrible accident might be caused by the negligent action.
The footage was posted on Twitter by Kala Krishna Swamy, Deputy Commissioner (Traffic), who stated, "Please be aware when you are opening the doors of your vehicle and avoid fatal mishaps."
The video has now gained popularity and has been widely distributed online. Others have also asked individuals to drive carefully for both their own safety and the safety of others. Bhaskar Rao, a former police commissioner in Bengaluru, wrote, "In (the) absence of quality road engineering and mistakes of others and systems follies and failures, we just have to save our life… careful, careful and careful all the time… till you run out of luck."
