WhatsApp continuously launches new features for the convenience of its users. Recently, the company redesigned its UI for Android users. Just a few days ago, WhatsApp introduced a new search bar and the Meta AI feature. However, the Meta AI feature is not yet available to all users. Now, WhatsApp has added another new feature to its platform called Chat Filter. Meta's instant messaging platform released a blog post announcing this feature.
What is WhatsApp Chat Filter?
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the launch of the Chat Filter feature. With this feature, you can easily filter all messages. This feature will reduce the time it takes to open a chat. The company is giving you the option to filter different chats. Due to the release of this feature, accessing different WhatsApp chats will be made easier for people. Until now, you had to scroll through chats in the inbox for any WhatsApp group or unread messages. Now you will have filters for this, allowing you to see group chats in one place.
How does this feature work?
WhatsApp has introduced 3 default filters, allowing you to access the right conversation. First, you need to open WhatsApp on your iOS or Android smartphone. Make sure your WhatsApp is updated. Now you have to click on the 3 filters given at the top. At the top, you will get the options for All, Unread, and Groups. The All filter will show you all chats. Similarly, when using the group filter, you will start seeing all groups. Likewise, when you select the Unread chats filter, it will show you all the chats that you have not read.
