New Delhi: Members of the newly elected YSR Congress Party have taken an oath today for the Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh. They have taken oath in Rajya Sabha today i.e. Wednesday. It is said that first Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy took oath in Rajya Sabha in Hindi. After he was sworn in, Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Mopidevi Venkataramana took oath in Telugu.

After taking the oath, members elected from other states were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Rajya Sabha President and Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu. According to the information received, another member Parimal Natwani did not participate in the swearing-in ceremony today due to personal reasons. The party officials said that "on some other day, the Nitwani will take the oath."

According to this information, a total of 61 members from 20 states of the country have recently been elected to the Rajya Sabha. Most of them took the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday. Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao resigned from their ministerial posts after being elected as Rajya Sabha members. Their resignation was accepted by the Governor. Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Mopidevi Venkataramana have taken oath in the Rajya Sabha in Telugu.
