Kannada's well-known Meera Vasudev starer new show 'Kudumbavilakku' has topped the Malayalam TV show's TRP chart. The show, which started on January 27, has managed to gain popularity in no time. 'Kudumbavilakku' portrays the life of Sumitra, a housewife who takes care of a large family including her in-laws. In the show, Meera Vasudev's TV comeback, KK Menon, Shreejit Vijay and Nishita are also seen in the main characters.

Apart from this, the musical drama 'Vanamabadi' was at number one, while TRP has currently slipped to second place in ratings. As per the current track, the lead character Mohan Kumar has learned the truth that Anmol is his own daughter. The popular show 'Neelkkuil', which is expected to be off-air soon, is in third place. The show features central characters by Nitin Jake, Lata Sangaraju and Sneha Chandran.

Interestingly, the recently launched show 'Mounargam' has managed to achieve 4th place in the TRP chart within a short time of its launch. The soap depicting the life of a speech-loving young girl Kalyani has marked the Malayalam TV debut of Aishwarya and Nalesh, while the film 'Kasturiman' starring Sri Ram Ramachandran is one of the most-watched on Malayalam TV Ranked fifth among serials.
