The French league  has taken an important decision and announced that Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil star Neymar has been banned for two Ligue 1 matches after being sent off in their loss to title rivals Lille last weekend. Let us share that Neymar was given two yellow cards, the second for a late push on Lille’s Tiago Djalo, who was also sent off in the match. The Brazilian then also tried to confront Djalo again in the hallway leading to the dressing rooms.

Here it is to be noted that after the French league announced the two-game ban, Neymar will now miss his side’s key clashes against Strasbourg (April 10) and the match against struggling Saint-Etienne on April 18. Each match at this stage will be important for the defending champions as they sit three points behind new Ligue 1 leaders Lille with seven matches remaining. It was Neymar’s second sending off of the campaign, and his fourth in as many seasons since joining PSG from Barcelona.
