Hyderabad: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided several places in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Sunday (September 19). Meanwhile, the NIA is taking action on the case of Nizamabad, in which it was claimed that a terrorist training camp is being run instead of a karate training centre here. The NIA has raided Shahdullah, the district convenor of radical Islamist outfit Popular Front of India (PFI).
According to the information, the action of raiding by NIA is going on at 30 locations. This includes areas like Nizamabad, Kurnool and Guntur. The investigating agency is trying to extract terrorist connections to this organization and its members in this raid. Police have already detained Muhammad Imran and Muhammad Abdul Mobeen in connection with the case. A case of sedition was registered against them. The Hyderabad unit of the NIA had registered a case against Abdul Khader and 26 others. In this case, there are serious allegations of conspiring to wage war against the central government.
Along with this, the PFI organization has also been accused of recruiting youth and training them in terrorism so that they can carry out terrorist acts. The PFI is also accused of organising unlawful assembly in which it incites enmity between other groups on the basis of religion. It is alleged that this organization is also involved in a conspiracy to harm the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. All these allegations are also written in the NIA FIR.
