NIA five-member team visits Jammu and Kashmir, will question DSP

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will be in Jammu and Kashmir for a week. A five-member team of this investigating agency has arrived here on Sunday. The team will interrogate Devinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jammu and Kashmir. According to sources, the investigation team will remain in Kashmir for a week and will collect evidence here. It is also being said that Devinder Singh will bring back with him to Delhi.

According to media reports, in the next few days, the investigation team will visit Kulgam Qazigund, Srinagar Airport and Singh's residence. Following the order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the case was registered by the NIA on Saturday and an investigation into the case was started. Devinder Singh, including three Hizbul Mujahideen militants, was arrested on January 11. They were all going on the National Highway to Kazipur. Sources say that Devinder Singh was taking top commander Naveed Babu with him so that he could go to Pakistan.

For your information, tell me that lawyer Irfan Ahmed was also arrested. Since then, Devinder Singh was questioned by several investigating agencies. Devinder Singh was associated with the Jammu and Kashmir Police fighting terrorism. Devinder was in the Anti Hijacking Wing in Srinagar. Apart from this, Devinder has also been a part of the team which met a delegation of ambassadors visiting Kashmir earlier this month.
