Nicki Minaj has released the trailer of her upcoming documentary series, Nicki, which will have six episodes. The series is produced by Bron Studios and is coming soon, even though no dates have been revealed yet by the rapper. The trailer starts with a clip of a young Nicki performing, with her voiceover revealing, “You don’t get a manual on how to be a famous rapper. You just learn it as you go.” 

Talking about her climbing to achieving fame she adds, “Female rappers weren’t really charting at the time. I’m fighting for the girls who never thought they could win.” While the trailer was nearing its end the Rapper reflects on her growth over the years, “When you are just focused on the business, you can lose yourself,” She further adds, “It was time for me to grow up and start loving myself.”, “I took some time to perfect this very intimate, delicate, electrifying, inspiring body of work,”.

Minaj further added in the caption of her post, “As I decide on a home for this project, I can’t help but reflect on what I’m including in this doc. Some things are so personal, it’s scary. It’s like NOTHING you’ve seen before & I need it to be handled with care.” Even though a release date for the series is yet released by the Rapper, she added that it is “coming out sooner.”

On the Workfront, Minaj is set to healing many music festivals this year. She will join A$AP Rocky and Future for Rolling Loud New York in September, a three-day event at Queens’ Citi Field. Minaj is also gearing up to perform at iHeart Radio Music Festival at Las Vegas's T-Mobile Arena the night following her Rolling Loud appearance alongside Megan Thee Stallion and Halsey.
