Bhopal: MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan recently said that 'Corona infection is increasing in the state, which is a matter of concern. Corona infection has to be controlled and prevented. All measures should be taken for this. Public awareness campaigns should be conducted. Strict steps will also be taken if the infection rate increases.' He also said, "Night curfew can be imposed in Bhopal and Indore districts from Sunday or Monday." The Chief Minister said all these things during a meeting. He said, 'In these two districts, the presence of half of the people should be ensured in the events in the meeting hall. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Vivek Johri, and officials of the Health Department were involved in the meeting with him.

The Principal Secretary in charge of the districts also joined through video conferencing. During this meeting, the CM said that 'citizens should be motivated to adopt all safety measures from Corona. Be encouraged to apply masks, wash your hands with frequent soap, follow social distancing, avoid overcrowding, and get vaccinated. Taking protective measures and vigilance in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Chhindwara, Burhanpur, Khargone, Ratlam, Ujjain, Betul, Sagar, Rewa, and Khandwa, especially by police and municipal corporations, motivate people for putting masks with the help of municipal vehicles, etc Presentation should be done through artists from place to place and awareness campaigns should be conducted.

He further said, 'Special vigilance should be taken to prevent corona infection in the districts bordering Maharashtra including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur. Passengers arriving from Maharashtra by airplanes, trains, and buses should be thermally tested and motivated for masks and other measures under the Roko-Toko campaign. The meeting was also discussed in terms of restricting traffic from Maharashtra. In the districts bordering Maharashtra and districts with more than 10 corona infection cases, shopkeepers will have to take all protective measures to protect themselves from the infection. A rope should be placed in front of the shop. Adequate distance should be kept between the customers visiting the shop. Encourage customers to use sanitizers and apply masks. Action should be taken against shopkeepers who do not follow these safeguards.'

He also said- 'Workers started coming to Madhya Pradesh from other states in the festival. Proper thermal screening of workers should be done. Safeguards should be adopted.'
