Psychologists usually define a nightmare as 'a terrifying dream'. Nightmares fall into two categorize. One is 'garden-variety nightmares' and another is 'post-traumatic nightmares'.

Some of the common nightmares everyone has gone through at least once in a lifetime:

1. SEEING THE DEATH
This nightmare makes you feel that you are contacted or approached by someone who is dead. This can either be by someone who has recently passed away. This can be associated with an inability to let go.
