According to the information received, in view of this, on Thursday, March 5, 2020, the Patiala House Court of Delhi has issued a death warrant and the date of March 20, 2020, has been fixed for hanging the four convicts. In a petition filed through lawyer Manohar Lal Sharma, Mukesh has accused Amicus Curiae. He was not told that he has three years to file a curative petition. He should be allowed to re-file the curative and mercy petition. Mukesh has said in the petition that a conspiracy has been hatched against him. He has not been given the correct information. Therefore his fundamental right has been violated. It is for this reason that he has filed the writ petition.

Keeping this in mind, the limit for filing a curative petition for Mukesh is July 2021. In the petition, Mukesh alleged that Amicus Curiae forcibly signed the document and filed a corrective petition. The petition said that the orders given in the Nirbhaya case from 6 December 2019 to 3 March 2020 should be canceled. Also, he should be allowed to file a corrective and mercy petition again.
