Today we are going to share this with you, in the next few years, many car companies in the country are preparing to launch their electric cars. This will be seen at the Auto Expo to be held in 2020. At the same time, next year, the best selling electric car in the world, Nissan Leaf will also be launched in India. Nissan revealed this in January this year. Along with being an electric car, another feature of the Nissan Leaf is that it can also brighten your home. Nissan, the company that makes the electric car leaf, claims that their car is a moving power house. It has a 40 kWh battery, which can also power a house. The company claims that Nissan is nothing less than a boon for the problem of power outages or for homes dependent on solar power.

When the company's status quelled in northeast Japan in March 2011, the first generation Nissan Leaf was launched only three months ago and the period tsunami also caused tremendous havoc. During that time, the power of 48 lakh houses had disappeared due to earthquake and tsunami, then around 66 Nissan Leaf cars provided electricity in the disaster affected areas. The Nissan Leaf uses the Vehicle to Everything technology, also known as the V2X. Through this technology, electric vehicles can not only take power from the grid, but can also send power to the grid. Apart from this, electricity can also be provided to homes, shops, offices and other electronic devices.

It is worth noting that the 62 kWh battery of Nissan Leaf Plus is fully charged through V2X technology and can power a Japanese household for four days. With this, it can power more than 6,200 smartphones or more than 100 elevators with 43-storey buildings. At the same time, Nissan also claims that another advantage of electric vehicle during natural disaster is that electricity can be restored well if petrol supply is normal. In March 2011, it took over a week to restore the Japan power grid and during that time only 50 per cent of gas stations were able to open.
