Nissan is gearing up to launch its new electric car, Nissan Aria, in India. The company has been focusing on electric vehicles, given the growing demand in the country. Before the launch of Nissan Aria, the company will introduce its new Nissan X-Trail, for which bookings will start soon.

Design and Features

Nissan Aria's design is expected to be attractive, with a coupe design featuring a shoulder line at the front and rear. The car will have a new shield design, stylish grille, bumper, headlights, and taillights. The interior will feature a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, haptic control system, head-up display, and Bose audio system. Safety features like airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, and automatic climate control system are also expected.

Powertrain

Nissan Aria will offer two battery pack options - 63 kWh and 87 kWh. The 63 kWh battery pack will produce 217 HP of power and 300 Nm of torque, with a range of 402 km on a single charge. The 87 kWh variant will produce 242 HP of power and 300 Nm of torque, with a range of 513 km on a single charge.

Launch Date

Nissan has not officially announced the launch date of Nissan Aria, but it is expected to hit the market by next year. The car has already received a 5-star safety rating from EURO NCAP in 2022. Once launched, Nissan Aria will rival MG ZS EV in the market.
