New Delhi: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has said he does not know anything about Hindus or Hindutva on former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi's Hindu and Hindutva statement. Gadkari said the Modi government's focus is only on development. Good governance is the priority of our government. Ram Mandir is not an election issue for us, it is a matter of faith.

Talking to media in Varanasi on Monday, the Union Minister expressed his views on a number of issues including Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi's Hindu vs Hindutva. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said the Yogi government will form the government again in Uttar Pradesh with a huge majority. He said Uttar Pradesh has developed all-around due to the double engine government. In the 2022 Uttar Pradesh elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest on the issue of development.

He said the Yogi government has significantly improved the law and order situation. The mafia has abolished the raj and which are our public welfare policies. That's where we'll have issues in this assembly election. He said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Uttarakhand will also come back to power with a good majority.
