Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will extend his cabinet on Sunday. There had been long-time speculation of expansion. Six to seven people from the Jdu quota will be inducted into the Government in this expansion. No BJP member will get a chance in the expansion. However, JDU has to say on this that the BJP quota ministers have already been formed and the posts which have been vacated recently are all of the Jdu quota.

 According to information, this extension can heats up state politics in the circumstance stemming from the inclusion of JDU in the Modi government. The swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers will be at 11.30 am at Raj Bhavan. CM Nitish Kumar met the governor on Saturday and spoke on the detail. Ashok Choudhary, Neeraj Kumar, Lakshmeshwar Rai, Shyam Razak, Bima Bharti, Sanjay Jha, Narendra Narayan Yadav are set to get a place in the cabinet expansion.

So, through this expansion, Nitish is trying to convey a political message to keep his grip among the backward class and the most backward voters. The state has more than 50 per cent of the backward and over-lagging votes. The State is to have assembly elections at the end of next year. JDU says the party will focus full on the organization the next one year and try to complete the pending tasks for the backward society.
