Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Bihar, transferred Rs 10 crore 35 lakh 79 thousand to the accounts of 103579 labourers and needy people trapped in lockdown outside the state on Monday. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar told through video conferencing that assistance was given to the people of the state at the rate of one thousand rupees and this scheme was launched today. He told that as soon as the launch of the scheme, an amount of Rs 10 crore 35 lakh 79 thousand was transferred to the account of 103579 people trapped outside Bihar. The Chief Minister launched the scheme by clicking the mouse.

The scheme to send 1000 rupees to people in their bank account has started in Bihar. For this, two lakh 84 thousand 674 applications have been received so far. CM, after examining these applications, has directed the officials to send the amount to other people's account soon.

In his statement, Nitish Kumar said that camps are being run outside Delhi to help people in Delhi and other cities. Camps are being made available to people in ten places in Delhi. He told the officers to constantly monitor these places, so that whatever is needed there can be made available immediately.
