Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group visited Prayagraj at the Mahakumbh 2025, the holy sangam of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. After worshipping at the Triveni Sangam, he performed the Bhandara Seva at the ISKCON Pandal. The Adani Group has collaborated with ISKCON and Geeta Press to serve devotees at the grand spiritual gathering. It is distributing Mahaprasadam to 1 lakh devotees everyday with ISKCON and providing 1 crore Aarti collections in association with Geeta Press.

Gautam Adani was accompanied by wife Dr. Priti Adani, his sons Karan and Jeet, daughter-in-law Paridhi and granddaughter Kaveri. On the visit, he also addressed to the questions over the upcoming wedding of his younger son Jeet Adani. There are speculations about a ‘celebrity Mahakumbh’ at the Adani wedding too, also a potential debut of Taylor Swift in India who will perform at the pre-wedding festivities. Responding to these, the Chairman said, “Jeet’s marriage is on February 7^th. His marriage will be very simple and with traditional ways with only family members. My upbringing and our way of doing things are that of a common person from the working class.” With this statement, Gautam Adani has dismissed all the rumors circulating around his son’s wedding. Upon questioned about the attendance of celebrities, he clearly said, "Definitely not."

There were also reports around about top chefs from all over the world flying in to Ahmedabad and hundreds of private jets and luxury cars have been booked to ferry the guests, at a cost of Rs. 10,000 crores.

Jeet Adani is the younger son of Gautam Adani. He joined the Adani Group in 2019 after attending the University of Pennsylvania – School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Jeet got engaged to Diva Shah, daughter of Surat Diamond merchant Jaimin Shah, in March 2023 in Ahmedabad and will tie the knot in February this year. He also accompanied the family at the Mahakumbh to seek blessings ahead of the wedding.

Adani has put all the speculations to rest and set it all clear. The wedding is expected to be a private and simple affair without any kind of lavish extravaganza or presence of celebrities at the wedding nuptials. Neither Taylor Swift will arrive to perform in India.
