Amritsar: Punjab Lok Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh has taken a U-turn on Pakistan in the Punjab assembly elections. In fact, recently Amarinder Singh said that he is not against the people of Pakistan. Apart from this, Amarinder Singh also said that his war is against the rulers of Pakistan and the army. Let us tell you all that recently Amarinder Singh alleged that the rulers and army of Pakistan are trying to create unrest.

Let us tell you all that Amarinder Singh had come to address public meetings in support of party candidate Farzana Alam from Malerkotla and Sardar Ali from Amargarh. Meanwhile, Amarinder Singh said that these elections are going to decide the future of Punjab as the state is facing many challenges which can only be faced by a double engine government. Let us tell you all that Punjab Lok Congress is contesting the elections in alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiromani Akali Dal (United). In such a situation, the former chief minister said that before independence, about 40 per cent of the population of Patiala was Muslim and most of them migrated to Pakistan.

At the same time, Amarinder Singh recalled how he was felicitated and respected in the neighbouring country during his visit as the Chief Minister of Punjab in 2004. "I am in favour of good relations between the two countries, but the Prime Minister of Pakistan and his army are behaving highly hostilely towards India which is unacceptable.'' Let us also tell you all that Amarinder Singh has been constantly raising questions about Pakistan. In fact, Amarinder Singh is making a big issue of national security and he believes that Pakistan is a big threat to India.
