Shimla: The work of the Atal Tunnel, which has been going on for the last several days, is now going to be completed after just some time. The work of 8.8 km long Atal (Rohtang) tunnel of strategic importance is in the final stage. The Rohtang Pass connecting Manali to Leh and the tunnel built under its peaks is very different in itself. Tunnel is being built with the world's modern technology. The temperature of the trains will be checked with the sensor at the entry gate of the tunnel. After that, the vehicles will be able to go inside.

Hot-spot detection systems will be available at both the entry gates of Atal Tunnel being built with state-of-the-art technology. Its sensors will immediately scan the engine temperature, tires and the temperature of the entire vehicle entering the tunnel. If the temperature of a vehicle is high, it will be stopped outside the tunnel, so that any kind of incident can be stopped. When the temperature of the vehicle becomes normal, after scanning the barrier, the vehicle will be allowed to pass through the tunnel.

Along with this, we are making the tunnel so high-tech, that vehicles will be able to run at a speed of 80 km per hour. About 4500 vehicles will be able to pass through the tunnel daily. Pollution will be more inside the tunnel. For this, equipment is being installed inside the tunnel to check air quality. Sensors will tell pollution, and the machinery will automatically remove it from the top of the tunnel. Complete lack of oxygen is also being done in the tunnel. Now its construction is almost complete. After some time it will be completely ready.
