Patna: Shortly after the death of journalist Avinash Jha in Madhubani, Bihar, another journalist has been assassinated. At Gidhwas Bazar in Araria's Raniganj police station, a daily newspaper journalist was shot and killed. Locals apprehended the shooting suspect and thrashed him before rushing the injured journalist to the hospital for treatment. The culprit who shot him was assaulted by the villagers and taken into jail by the police.

The opposition, on the other side, has started to criticise the Nitish government over the event. Following the death of journalist Avinash Jha in Madhubani, Tejaswi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition, has claimed that another journalist was shot dead in Araria yesterday. If someone calls it Jungle Raj, CM Nitish Kumar ji will punish them, suspend advertising, threaten him, and manage the situation in another manner, but the thuggery will continue.

Journalists and opposition leaders, according to the RJD, are being slaughtered all over Bihar. Nitish Kumar has silenced the critics and put an end to the situation by reinstating his control over the districts. The tyranny of Nitish Kumar will not endure long.
