These days south actors are winning the hearts of the audience. Based on the top ranking of IMDb Dhanush emerged as the most popular Indian star of 2022 based on the number of pageviews registered for the celeb pages. The actor emerged at top of the IMDb Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022 list. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Aishwarya Rai were ranked second and third on the list that IMDB shared on Wednesday. The most shocking part is none of the Khan made a place in the list. Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are considered A-listers and superstars in Bollywood but they failed to get a place in IMDb popular celebrity rating.

Aamir Khan’s movie Laal Singh Chaddha was released earlier this year. While the movie received mixed responses from the audience and critics alike, it failed to make any sort of mark on the box office. The movie is tagged as a disaster.  Shah Rukh Khan last film zero also proved as Disaster. He is all set for his comeback after zero. He has three upcoming films. Salman Khan also has Tiger 3 and various other projects in the pipeline, however, the three Khans of Bollywood did not manage to get a place in the popular celebrity tlist.

  Six out of the top ten stars is from South Industry including Ram Charan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu,  NTR Jr, Allu Arjun and Yash, are from south India. Dhanush receives praises for his film Thiruchitrabalam and also stepped into the Hollywood industry with his debut in Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man, bagged the first position by beating. As per the latest update, the IMDb Top 10 Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022 list is composed of stars who consistently “ranked the highest on the IMDb weekly rankings throughout 2022”.
