Patna: Vikas Insaan Party (VIP) national president Mukesh Sahni may be the fourth minister who has not been able to complete his term while living in Patna's 6, Strand Road bungalow. On Wednesday, 3 MLAs of Mukesh Sahni's party VIP, Raju Singh, Swarna Singh and Mishri Lal Yadav left the party and joined the BJP. After this incident, questions have started arising about the political future of Mukesh Sahni.

With the joining of the three VIP MLAs to the BJP, the BJP has demanded the resignation of Sahni from the post of minister. In fact, if we look at the history of the last few years, then whatever minister of Bihar government lives in 6, Strand Road bungalow. He could not complete his term. He has to lose his ministerial post for one reason or the other.

Before Mukesh Sahani's 6, strand road bungalow, this bungalow used to be occupied by Manju Verma, a minister in the previous government. In 2018, Manju Verma's husband's name had cropped up in the Muzaffarpur girls' home case. Thereafter, he had to resign as a Minister. Before Manju Verma, this bungalow was occupied by RJD leader Alok Mehta, who was a minister in the Grand Alliance government. But in 2017, CM Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with the RJD and formed the government with the BJP. Thereafter, Even Alok Mehta could not complete his tenure as a Minister. Before Alok Mehta, in 2015, JD(U) leader and the then Excise Department Minister Avdhesh Kushwaha lived in the 6, Strand Road bungalow. But after he was seen taking money in a sting operation, he also had to resign from the Nitish government. The same question is now being raised whether Mukesh Sahani will also not be able to complete his term?
