Patna: Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) national president Mukesh Sahani has suffered a major setback. Three of his party's MLAs have joined the BJP. Three MLAs Raju Singh, Suvarna Singh and Misri Lal Yadav, who won on VIP tickets, have taken over the reins of the BJP. Earlier, the three MLAs had extended their support to the BJP candidate in the Bochaha assembly by-election in place of the VIP candidate and had submitted their letter of support to Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha in this regard.

As Mukesh Sahni's party's participation in the UP assembly elections did not like by the BJP, the BJP decided to field its candidate in the upcoming by-election to the Bochaha assembly constituency. On Wednesday, BJP candidate Baby Kumari filed her nomination papers. Subsequently, Geeta Devi filed her nomination as a VIP candidate. Since then, the political turmoil has started and the three VIP MLAs decided to support the BJP instead of the party's candidates and gave their letter of support to the Assembly Speaker.

The same Mukesh Sahani's party has now become without MLAs. Now, Mukesh Sahani's ministerial berth may also be in trouble. Let us know that on June 30, the period of membership of Mukesh Sahani's Legislative Council is also ending. Let us know that VIP had won 3 MLAs in the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections. All the three MLAs, who were elected on VIP tickets, were in the Bharatiya Janata Party before the elections. They left the BJP and joined the VIP and won the election and reached the Assembly. In such a situation, it was also being said that all the three MLA could leave Mukesh Sahani and join the Bharatiya Janata Party.
