On the professional front, Alia is all set for Darlings. The film which also stars Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma in the lead revolve around a woman who kidnaps her own husband. While the movie will premiere on the OTT platform on August 5, its promotions are currently underway. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the screen for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouny Roy, and Nagarjuna.

One of the most famous Film Producers and directors remains in news for his show Koffee with Karan and also for her controversial Statements. Karan Johar is also tagged as father of Nepotism.

During his recent interview, Karan talked about his Blockbuster Movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam. Speaking about the movie and its huge star cast. Karan mentioned how the Indian film industry has changed and how having a star cast with names like Shah, Kajol, Kareena, Hrithik, Jaya, and Amitabh is not possible anymore.

Speaking about Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Karan said  "No one can afford a movie like 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' today. Getting one actor in a frame is so expensive, imagine six of them. It is a pity because it will be such a big treat to the viewers to see so many actors in one frame. I hope, wish, and pray that it happens."   Karan also talked about the chances of making it only if he get all these actor at the price one. He added, "Economically it is tough, but we should get the phenomena of multi-starrer back as the audience will get more for the price of one."

Speaking about Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam. The film was released in the year  2001 blockbuster, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, and Jaya Bachchan. It became a major hit as various versatile actors came in one screen. The song, story, and cinematography all managed to win the heart of the audience.
