New Delhi: Nobel Award winning economist Dr Abhijeet Banerjee has said that merely postponing the EMI of the loan will not help. He said that EMI should be completely forgiven for a few months and it should be paid by the government.

We can also say that the government will repay the loan of this quarter, instead of just repaying the loan back and forth, it will be right to forgive it.

There is a Republican government run by some financiers. If we want, we can also do this.
