More than 40 doctors and nurses quit jobs in Corona, administration gives 3-day ultimatum

Noida: Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration on Monday asked doctors and nurses of a private hospital to return to work within three days and warned that an FIR would be lodged against those who failed to do so. These people left the job in the midst of Coronavirus crisis.

According to officials, the administration has warned to register an FIR against 4 doctors and 40 nurses of the Sarada Hospital in Greater Noida. It is included in the largest hospitals for the treatment of coronavirus patients in the district. The administration said in a statement on Monday, 'A case will be registered against those doctors and nurses who are leaving jobs during the coronavirus and legal action will be ensured against them. Four doctors and 40 nurses of Sharda Hospital have been given necessary guidelines to quit the job.

Rajneesh Dubey, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Education Department, DM LY Suhas of Gautam Budh Nagar, and Narendra Bhushan, the nodal officer of Covid-19 response of the district, held a review meeting after which this statement was made.
