32 cybercriminals arrested from Noida for major action on fake call center

Noida: Police have arrested 32 persons of a gang that cheated the station Bisrakh police on Thursday. Police are searching for their other accomplices. The arrested accused have confessed to cheating several US citizens. Police have seized 55 computers, CPUs, laptops, mobile phones, and other belongings from their possession.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone II Ankur Agarwal said that based on a tip-off, Thana Bisrakh police have raided and busted an illegal call centre and arrested 32 persons including Parwinder, Saket, Amit. He said that during interrogation, police have learned that the men had cheated people living in the US in cyber.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that the gang used to call the numbers received from the hackers and call themselves employees of reputed companies like Microsoft, Apple, etc. He said, during interrogation, the arrest miscreants have confessed to cheating thousands of Americans worth crores of rupees. Police are interrogating them.
