Government of India has reduced the nationwide lockdown, people in cities are not following the rules by the government. Noida Police has seized 17 vehicles for a similar violation during a 24-hour period till Thursday night. The continuous investigation is going on for the violators as the police has done a 24-hour investigation at 200 checkpoints. During this action, the police have imposed a fine of Rs 1,89,400.
According to the Noida Police, Criminal Procedure Assistance (CrPC) Section 144, the gathering of not more than four persons, has been imposed in Gautam Budh Nagar as the area has been classified as 'Red Zone' for the Covid-19 epidemic. The Noida-Delhi border is currently sealed for anything except essential services. However, the people who pass by the district administration are also allowed to agitate. The two districts sealed their borders due to rising Covid-19 cases in the national capital to break the Coronavirus chain.
