Noida: Police have raided Noida's Sector-44 area adjoining the national capital and recovered Rs 3 crore 70 lakh 50 thousand from a house. The police have informed the income tax department officials about this. In view of the upcoming elections, the Gautam Budh Nagar police are continuously cracking down on the smuggling of arms, liquor and other banned items. The border is being constantly checked.

In the same sequence, the Sector 39 police station had received information that a huge amount of cash was present in the house of Prem Singh Nagar in Sector 44. On this, the police officers along with the team went to the spot and checked the house and the police recovered a large amount of cash in the house of Prem Pal Nagar, who lives on rent on the second floor of the house. This has been reported by the police to the Income Tax Department. The income tax department officials came to the spot and counted the amount recovered and found 3 crores 70 lakh 50 thousand in cash. During this time Prem Pal could not show any documents related to cash. The income tax department team is taking action.

It is feared that all the three seats of Gautam Budh Nagar will go to the polls in the first phase. This money was kept for expenses. Police are trying to find out where the money was to be supplied. Recently, the Noida police had recovered Rs 99 lakh 30 thousand in cash from a Fortuner car. In this, a man named Akhilesh was arrested. The Noida police have so far recovered more than five crore rupees in cash.
