North Korea dropped four places in an annual international corruption rating to 174th out of 180 countries last year, according to a report released on Tuesday by an anti-corruption monitor.

The index ranks countries according to how corrupt their public sector is viewed, based on data gathered "by a number of credible agencies, including the World Bank and the World Economic Forum."
According to the watchdog, North Korea lacks "fundamental institutional infrastructure, such as systems for administration and rule of law, to build an integrity system."
