Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, has reportedly received imagery of prominent U.S. locations such as the White House, Pentagon, and American aircraft carriers through a recently launched North Korean spy satellite, as per state media KCNA's announcement on Tuesday.

This satellite, launched just last week, is being touted by North Korea as a reconnaissance satellite designed specifically to monitor the military activities of both the United States and South Korea. KCNA revealed that the images sent by the satellite include what they termed as "major target regions," encompassing the South Korean capital of Seoul and various US military bases.

The state media reported that Kim Jong Un personally examined satellite photos depicting the Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, a US Western Pacific territory, and a US shipyard and airbase in Norfolk and Newport. These images revealed the presence of four nuclear-powered air carriers along with a British air carrier.

Both the United States and South Korea have condemned North Korea's satellite launch, viewing it as a violation of UN Security Council resolutions that prohibit the use of ballistic technology. South Korean officials have expressed doubts regarding North Korea's satellite capabilities, citing the absence of evidence or released imagery from the captured photos.
