According to Northern Railway, it has been decided to resume the sale of platform tickets at 8 major stations in the country's capital Delhi.

However, the price of platform tickets has been increased to Rs 30 to prevent unnecessary congestion at railway stations. According to railways, people will be able to buy platform tickets at a total of 8 railway stations including New Delhi, Old Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Anand Vihar Terminal, Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Delhi Cantonment Railway Station of Delhi Division. It will be decided to provide platform tickets based on the number of passengers at other stations.

Let us tell you that many trains were stopped due to lockdown in many states amid the Corona crisis period. At the same time, the sale of platform tickets was also stopped to control the rush of people at railway stations. Now, once again, with the improvement in the situation, the number of trains across the country is being increased in a phased manner.
