World number one Novak Djokovic has been arrested for the second time in Australia. This is the second time the Australian government has cancelled his visa. Against which Djokovic had sought from the Australian court and has now been arrested again before the hearing. Djokovic's lawyer has given this information. The Australian court is now set to decide whether Djokovic can stay in Australia without being vaccinated against corona. Former Australian Immigration Minister Alex Hawke had cancelled Novak Djokovic's visa for the second time saying he could take the step in the public interest.

Djokovic's lawyer has said on the case that the Australian government's decision is irrational. Demand has been made in the court against this. It is scheduled to come up for hearing on Saturday and Sunday. The main round at the Australian Open begins on January 17. Djokovic will have to join the tournament by Monday to participate.  If Novak Djokovic loses the court case, his visa will be cancelled and his Visa to Australia is set to be banned for the next three years.

Vaccination required for tournament: The Victoria State Government has allowed entry only to those players, officials and spectators who have been vaccinated against covid slots at the Australian Open starting January 17. Djokovic, 34, is currently ranked first in the men's rankings. He has won a total of 84 titles in his career, including 20 Grand Slams. He has total prize money of Rs.1154 crores.
