Bhopal: Farmers protest against the Agricultural Law 2020 continues till now. Now in the meanwhile, the price of electricity has increased in Madhya Pradesh. Recently Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has released new tariff for 2020-21. Due to this new tariff, along with the farmers, the people of Madhya Pradesh are also going to suffer inflation.

In fact, due to the new tariff in the state, electricity rates have been increased by 1.98%. Talk about the new tariff rates, it is going to be applicable from December 26, 2020. According to the new rates, if you spend up to 50 units of electricity, then you will have to pay an additional five rupees. Apart from this, you will have to pay 12 rupees on 100 units and 22.50 rupees on 150 units. Whereas earlier up to 10 HP electric load was required to pay Rs 700 annually, now it will have to pay Rs 750 annually, that is, Rs 50 more.

Apart from this, where earlier the electricity load of more than 10 HP was required to pay Rs 1400 annually, now it will have to pay Rs 1500 annually, ie Rs 100 more. People are surprised by the rise in electricity prices in this way. Many people do not like this new tariff. People are currently seen protesting against the new tariff.
