India’s leading car company Maruti Suzuki planned to raise price of their auto vehicles. According to company they are going to hike prices up to Rs. 34,494. Reason to increase the price of vehicles the infrastructure cess on automobiles in the 2016-17 budget.  

Company said, ‘ Following the infrastructure cess on automobiles in the Union Budget 2016-17.. prices of its models would go up in the range of Rs 1441 to Rs 34,494 across its models.”   

There is no change in the models Ciaz SHVS and Ertiga SHVS they are exempted. Company sells vehicles starting from Rs. 2.54 to Rs. 11.69 for the models like Alto up to S-Cross.

Yesterday, luxury car making company Mercedes already said it would increase the price of the car up to 5% in India. Tata Motors already raised prices up to 2000 to 35000 while Hyundai and Honda give the indications to increase the prices.
