As per reports, Netflix is testing a new feature that might stop users from sharing passwords in the future. While this might be a good move for the company, Netflix could also lose out on a lot of subscribers due to its high subscription costs.

So for instance, if you are using your friend’s account, you will have to text your friend for the verification code that will be sent to the number of the account holder. Make sure you only borrow the account of people who are in touch with you because asking them to forward the code could be a task if you are not on great terms anymore.
However, The pop-up that was spotted by users read, "If you don't live with the owner of this account, you need your own account to keep watching.” The users also get the “Verify Later” option if they do not have immediate access to the verification code. If the user fails to get the code, he can also set up a new account but that would, of course, require money.
