Aadhar card issuing body UIDAI is planning to start doorstep service and with this happening soon you will be able to get Aadhar card services at your doorstep. The postman, apart from delivering your speed-post, will soon provide Aadhaar services at your doorstep. Aadhaar service will be delivered door-to-door through the postman. In fact, recently UIDAI said that it will now allow 48,000 postmen of India Post Payment Bank to go door-to-door in remote parts of the country and link Aadhaar numbers with mobile numbers, update details, along with new Aadhaar. Facilitates enrollment. People living in far-flung areas will be connected under this facility.

A senior UIDAI official told Economic Times that all 150,000 postal officers will be covered in the second part of the scheme. While giving information, the official said that training is being given under UIDAI, which can be presented soon. The aim of this is to reach as many people as possible and enroll more and more citizens. Further, talking about this scheme of UIDAI, UIDAI said that it will provide necessary digital gear like desktop or laptop-based Aadhaar kit to the postmen to update the required details of Aadhaar card holders.

Along with this, the official also said that till now training is being done using tablets and mobile-based kits for child enrollment. However, you must be aware that many facilities are provided to the citizens for Aadhaar updates online and this includes the facility of updating the address on the Aadhaar card, changing the name and updating the date of birth.
