WhatsApp's much-awaited multi-device support has finally been rolled out to all users. The feature that was in beta is now being introduced on both iOS and Android platforms. 

This feature provides users with the facility to use their WhatsApp account on multiple devices at once to send and receive messages on the cross-messaging platform, but one should keep in mind that the linked device may be disconnected if the phone remains inactive for two weeks. 

WhatsApp has also released details on the unsupported feature, which includes clearing or deleting chats on the linked device if your primary device is an iPhone, an old version of WhatsApp, using tablets, viewing live locations on linked devices, creating broadcast lists and viewing linked devices, And end the message with a link preview from WhatsApp Web.

Android:

Open WhatsApp on your smartphone.
Tap three dots on the right site at the top of the app and select the Linked Devices option. 
Unlock your phone with biometric verification or pin down whatever you've set up.
Open the web.whatsapp.com or WhatsApp desktop app on your PC or laptop.
Scan the QR code through your smartphone.

IOS:

Open a WhatsApp account on your iPhone.
Go to Settings and select the Linked Devices option. 
After this, follow the steps mentioned above (for Android).
Once linked, WhatsApp can be accessed to send and receive text simultaneously on different devices. Note, that this feature allows you to use the app on a maximum of four devices.
