Educational Qualification: For applying to the posts of Assistant Mine Surveyor / Mine Surveyor and Head of Mine Surveyor, the candidate should have diploma in Civil / Mining / Mines Survey. To apply for the posts of Executive (Mine Planning-RQP), Executive (Excavation), a candidate must have an engineering degree in Mechanical / Mining Machinery from a recognized University.

Age Limit: 37 years for Assistant Mine Surveyor while the maximum age for applying to the posts of Mine Surveyor, Head of Mine Surveyor, Executive (Mine Planning-RQP), Executive (Excavation) has been set at 47 years. Apart from this, the maximum age for the post of head of excavation should be 52 years.
